Aloo roti, also known as aloo paratha, is a famous dish that is typically made for breakfast in Northern India, especially Punjab where it originated. It consists of flatbread stuffed with a a spicy potato mixture. The ingredients are wholemeal, flour, salt, ghee for the flatbread and mashed potatoes, ginger, green chillies, coriander, dried pomegranate seeds, chili powder, and salt for the potato filling.
