A beautiful symmetrically-built mosque.

Jama Masjid is a mosque in Delhi, India that was built from 1650-1656 by the famous architect, Shah Jahān, whose most notable work is the Taj Mahal. It was constructed by around 5,000 workers where materials such as red sandstone and marble were used. The mosque typically attracts Muslims for Friday communal prayer. “Jama Masjid” also means “Friday mosque” in Arabic. This mosque also happens to be near the Red Fort which is another famous landmark built by Shah Jahān.
