A mosquito zapper to prevent the spread of diseases.

Sharwani, a student at Zilla Parishad High School in Chandanapur (ZPHS), created a mosquito zapper at age 15. She felt the need to make one to help prevent the rapid spread of Malaria, Dengue and Chikungunya across Telangana. The device is made up of an exhaust fan, a mosquito racket and LED light. The LED light attracts the mosquito and then the exhaust fan pulls the mosquito into the electric racket. The mosquito zapper can be used indoors or outdoors and has already been used by many.
